TOURISM AND RECREATION

Our economy is no longer driven primarily by trains. Today tourism brings in many visitors to Hinton each year. And with good reason, it is amazingly beautiful here.

With world-class fishing in our backyard, Whitewater rafting, biking, and hiking trails, challenging golf courses nearby, there is something for everyone.

Hinton is within a days drive of half of the country’s population, just a short jaunt to leave the stress of the city behind and relax in our beautiful hills and be treated to our down-home hospitality. If you’d rather not drive you can take the Amtrak right into downtown Hinton.
